The Air Jordan 12 Retro 'FIBA' sneaker commemorates the 18th FIBA Basketball World Cup taking place in China. Released in August 2019, this special edition flaunts a channel-stitched full grain leather upper with embroidered tongue branding. A series of national team graphics are applied to the pebbled leather mudguard while gold accents the lace loops and side panel. Chinese characters are stitched onto the back heel tab, which translates to 'The heart only burns for this purpose' as a nod to those who live and breathe basketball.

The Air Jordan 1 model represented the beginning of the legendary collaboration between the American brand and the player Michael Jordan.
